not too big of a difference but u can still see some details missing on the american version

eg. the driver side air vent does not have a silver trim around it but is blended into dash instead

also more wood on the SLS for china
the plastic around the shifter console is nasty on the north american STS...

cadillac needs to wake up and see what the consumers want!

Wow. Look at all those projector lights in the front

Over all it looks good. Nothing spectacular and nothing offensive. I like the interior though. Very simple and suttle.

Too bad that didn't make it into the U.S. market. Unfortunately, not a lot of people are willing to go for a 4 seat sedan...

That Chinese version interior is very nice, it seems like GM doesn't care or does not think nice high quality interiors are as important to Americans as people in other countries in that they offer something nice in one country but put a lackluster interior for America. GM interiors are getting alot better but decisions like that are a big dissapointment. I would think it would cost more money to design and manufacture 1 nice interior for one country and then another kind of crappy lackluster interior for the same car for another country.

Grill is too large in proportion to the car. Works on the new CTS not here.

The fender vents are really hideous. They look out of place/proportion.

The interior is nicer than before but the chrome on the center stack all the way to the top of the dash is strange. Note the difference in the top view of the Chinese car (better IMO).

What is it with the damn chrome strip across the top of the grill? I see more and more car manufacturers doing it. It also shouts "ugly" to me. *shrug*

I actually prefer the exterior of the current STS with the interior of the Chinese model.

A major dissapointment. This "update" is barely distinguishable from the current 2007 STS.
