Whats up everyone, I added another car to the collection...

Anyways lets get to the point, I just purchased an 03 SL55 with 33,000 Miles, its Pewter with charcoal interior. The only problem is that the warranty has expired. I was looking at a 2004 with around 20,000 with warranty, but I chose this because it was loaded with the following Renntech options...

I hope I made a good choice, The Renntech and audio was added at 19,000 miles. I will post pictures when I take delivery of the car.

Bet you got a sweet deal though...the market for cars has hit rock bottom.

 

Congrats!! I was looking into used SL's also before I purchased my SC, Just make sure you have a qualified Mercedes Tech handy just incase anything goes wrong with her.

Congragulations..............but consider an extended warranty for this car if the factory one is over, and make sure it covers electrical parts. Recent Mercedes products are notorious for electrical and hardware problems, and M-B parts and service is quite expensive.

 

Congrats! I think this SL is going to become a classic car in 10 years.. Its really got a timeless bodystyle.

Those are some sweet mods you bought with it. Do you mind me asking how much you paid total? What kind of performance boosts are you getting with those?

Also, how do those Morel's sound?

I think perhaps the reason the warranty is gone because of the mods.
So getting an extended warranty with a car with mods is probably gonna be tough.

 

how did the waranty expire so early? dman thats some hig end audio equipment in there.
