I think large flat body panels (with out at least some kind of bend/curve in them) don't lend themselves to flat black.

 

Very common color in Dubai, not interesting anymore.

whoever said flat black only looks good on exotics is sleepin...

 

that is more of a satin sheen on that car than flat black. it has a dull gloss...

 

According to numerous articles, they call the paint "Satin matte"...so i guess we're both right...

 

It looks like bad body work to me.

 

I think they all look like sh%^.

Yarly. It had a matte satin on it, but I didn't have the proper mixture for the paint to protect it so I gunned it flattie for the winter and come summer it'll be properly done matte satin - which for all purposes will still look flat.

It isn't that I exactly hate the newer cars in black, I just don't think they wear it well and I sure as hell am not going to drop over 100K or in the enzo's case 1M on something that don't shine. (even though my 50 will probably be around $80,000 when done at least it is period correct)
