the B8 i think is coming next year and it'll still carry the 2.0t as the base engine over here in the states...maybe diesel??? I just hope that they bump the HP (to at least 300hp) up a bit to at least stay competitive with this market. They're making the right move to the new Torsen diff w/ the 40/60 split.

Maybe the B8 will be when i go back to Audi *shrug*

 

As my friend once said. If you want a smile on you face playing with all you electrical toys at the red light then get a Japanese car. If you want a smile on your face when a green light comes on than get a German car. I test driven Lexus IS 250 AWD before getting my Audi A4 2.0T Quattro. Lesus - Luxury plush seats restrictive ESP and AWD system that works only in straight line acceleration. Lexus is a luxury car and not a sports car! Mark Levinson, Navigation is all superior! BTW I had SC400/430 before. No mater how fast IS350 is you are still disconnected from the road when you drive it. Go to any Audi dealership and test drive any car (A4/A6/A8), you will know what I mean. Audi/BMW are drivers cars.

 

last i checked the Audi A4 isnt a sports car either...it's an over weight pig w/ 200hp from the 2.0t and to get it really moving you have to do some engine work e.g. chip exhaust etc.

Both brands are nice cars and are good in their own right, but at the end of the day, it's who sells the most cars wins. I dont care how much soul some cars have, you can only lean on that soul thing for so long, after awhile you need to make money.
