its a BorgWarner S595 turbo and the car was built/tuned by www.bullseyepower.com

 

Yeah, can anyone say Turbo Lag?

 

actually the lag is supposedly minimal, something that bullseye seems to specialize in- high HP/high boost turbos with the least amount of lag.

 

According to that video and listing to the gears, thier is major lag. That thing took forever to spool.

 

I would love to see how much lag this turbo has up at my elevation (7,400 feet at the track), as I nipped a few turbocharged vehicled in the butt last night (good Reaction time on my part, too), but this seems to be a problem for all vehicles up here no matter what technology or set up is used in the turbo.

 

Was that the turbo blowing up during the 3rd pull?

Yeah, sounds like quite a bit of lag, but when it hit.......MAN!!!!!
