Nevermind, it is a Skyline with an LSx dropped into it. Extreme upgrade.

Yes, it is a R34 GT-R. This same pic is on my local forum. I think its a extremly pointless swap since the RB26DETT is a powerful engine it self. I mean it has what 340tq and 320hp? Sure the LSX or the LS6 has more power stock but i'd rather the RB26 for power. I'm a Chevy guy and all but IMO this swap is pointless. I wonder if this is still AWD?

Nooooo! Where did the precious RB26DETT go?! I'll take it and shoehorn it into my IS350.

I think this is swap is an example of trying something different. Both sides can argue until they're blue in the face about how each motor is better. That point is moot.

Car craft has showcased build ups of different motors each month, and I believe I have seen an LS (stroked of course), with twins and super top notch internals that were making in excess of 1600 hp. So, we can see that both motors can produce insane amounts of power.

You must admit though, it would be pretty damn awesome to see the looks on people's faces when you pull up to the line and the spectators are listening for the RB exhaust note, but what they hear is the deep rumble only associated with a V-8!!!

I don't think its pointless.

You'll have to hear it though.

Imagine this little *ricer* rolling up and then reving. Hell I'd be looking for a Chevelle SS thats how mean it sounds! I got a movie clip somewhere.

its an R34, BUT if it is/was a GT-R is unknown until we can see the rest of the front end. for some reason i doubt it is, more likely a GT-T or GT-S, which, being purely RWD would be much easier to swap into than the AWD GT-R
