Yet people give **** to Lexus, seeing they look the same as the Toyota's.

Go figure the Germans think similar to the American/Japanese.

Looking similar to toyota my ***.. I can tell any lexus apart from one another, and I fail to see how they look like toyota's.. I admit that I once mistook an ES for a camry when I was looking at it through the corner of my eye.

Isn't that the whole point?? brand, family resemblance, whatever they call it wouldn't be cool <for their owners> if you saw a car coming and couldnt tell if it was a hyundai or a jaguar <i know im being extremist, work w/ me here> hell look at porsche, AM's, Alfa Romeos, etc...

LOL. That's what I blame it on (and not the fact that it is not currently in the budget. ).

Wait a minute... are you telling me the BMW cars look more alike than the Lexus vehicles? I don't know about you but the IS, ES and LS are virtual triplets.

I just do not know what to say.
Never mind what to SAY. Talking won't get you one of these cars. It's open your wallet, brother....and a thick one at that, especially with the almost inevitable dealer markups that will come. And then....plan to spend some time figuring out the I-Drive.

Don't worry about the I-Drive part. I am sure people who are willing to spend this kind of money on this car don't mind giving up some initial user-friendliness and learning curve, and get a whole lot of driving dynamic enjoyment back.

That I am not so sure. I have seen enough dumb people (in their life or the way they drive) who bought BMW for status alone

Wait a minute. So they say the new LS ripped off from BMW 7 and now you are saying that LS, IS and ES are virtually identical. So that means 7, IS, ES and LS looks the same? lol

yup, they all have 4 doors and 4 sets of tires. May be a radiator too?

Actually it might not be you, coz I didn't see any signature M3 side grills on that piece of junk. Flop.

Well "they" say the LS has the bangle butt, but I've never heard that the LS ripped off the 7 and I'm quite sure those two cars are not confused by people.

But I for one can tell you that the new ES from a distance "could" be an IS, or is it maybe the new LS? Are you saying the current Lexus lineup (aka L-Finesse sedans) are not near clones? Or that the BMW line-up looks more alike?
