2009 MUSTANG Rendering

2009 Ford Mustang Spied
Ford's answer to the upcoming Camaro and Challenger ? by Staff
Ford Mustang – 2009 Spy Photo: “History has a habit of repeating itself.” It's a phrase that can be applied to most any topic, though cars may be ruling this roost come the end of the decade. Just as was the case about forty years ago, the muscle car wars are heating up with Chevy Camaro and Dodge Challenger concepts readying to take on the redesigned Mustang. In preparation for modern warfare with its domestic adversaries, Ford is reportedly tweaking the ‘Stang for 2009, with a sleeker look and a GT pushing 350+ horses. Pictured here is an artist's rendering of what Ford's next Pony may look like.

I definitely like that better than the current design. Then again, I'm not a fan of retro designs at all.
I think the spy pics of the Camaro concept made them nervous as GM managed to brilliantly create a retro-throwback look while still making the new Camaro look very modern in many aspects.
If wonder if the interior looks any better/more modern or if it's still upright and oldschool looking? I can't stand the gauge cluster on the current Mustang.

I'd like to see it not have such a big butt. Every time I see or even drive one of a friend at the track, it gives me the sense it weighs too much (which it does).
However, the front side of this artist's conception looks really good.
