Adios Enzo
Damn!
Do Enzos tend to break in half like that?!? It seems like all the recent Enzo accidents show the cars breaking right in the middle like so...
Hopefully, the passengers recover fully.

Yep, just about all of the Ferrari's split in half when in serious accidents. Someone was telling me that they are designed to do this. Its a good answer, but Im not sure I can fully believe that.
Hope the occupants are ok.

that is something that i notice also. Wonder why most of the picture of Ferrari accident split in half? After seeing the National Geographic channel about making a Ferrari, i would believe no accident can cause this.. i am wrong
I know - its for insurance purposes - when you wreck a ferrari its cheaper to total out the car and get a new one than fixing & piecing it back together.... I just can't forsee why its safer to come apart like that - quite embrassing if you ask me..

A Ferrari owner told me (I don't know if this is true or not, could be a rumor), that the stress points are designed to break in an accident of that sort so the mass of the engine is disconnected from the passenger compartment. I guess it makes sense, since you probably wouldn't want a) the engine landing on you or b) to be attached to the heaviest part of the vehicle while it's out of control; I'd imagine the "motion" of the engine compartment would carry it a lot further, faster, and more dangerous than the relatively light passenger compartment.
I dunno, made sense to me.

Another single-car Enzo accident? I really hope everyone is ok, but they need to stop selling Enzo's to morons. Seems as though the driver was trying to impress his lady friend with his driving skills...
