Default left Lexus for Toyota

Well sad to say that today, shopped around for hours and ended up buying a Toyota. Not to say anything is wrong with that of course

Looked at tons on cars, a 2003 GS 430 with only 30,000 miles, a 2004 GS 300, two black GX 470s, a used RX 350, and a new 07 4Runner, and an Infiniti M35. Now i work for a Infiniti dealership so i could get a teriffic deal on an Infiniti but didnt want one, i see them everyday so i kinda got tired of seeing it. But anywho, traded in my 01 RX 300 for a 2007 4Runner SR5 V6 2WD. I wanted a Limited but they didnt have one, and i know they could have got one from another location. So i settled on a Black SR5 with options like 17" wheels, that double decker cargo system, power front seats, leather steering wheel and shift ****, side airbags with curtains, and a sunroof. The car doesnt have leather but the dealer is installing leather for free so that all good. Overall i love the 4Runner, i feel more at home in that than the RX 300. but i am gonna miss the RX, it was such a problem free car. only thing that went wrong with it is that the lil light incidator light on the instrument cluster from "D" quit working, and that it. it had 83222 miles on it so it was almost time to let it go. But once i left that lot, i did take a last look at my baby, gonna miss her. What Im gonna miss most is the wood trim, the 4Runner doesnt have that, and the HID's with auto headlamps, but i can live with without that. only has 36 miles on it at the moment so havent really dont real driving with it. its dark now so cant take pics at the moment but once that sun comes out, yall she how pretty she is. Im proud of the 4Runner i have, i feel like i made a good choice!!!

Yeah a 4Runner is so like an 07 M35 Sport.

Anyway AJL0365 - very nice vehicle. I looked at one when I was shopping. I wanted it with nav though and the dealer said they rarely can ever get any so I said see ya.

yeah forgot all about that, i was so focused on getting that M because i get such a teriffic deal on one, but i guess in my mind that i work for infiniti and i see them every day and i have access to every M on the lot, so why buy one while i have insurance with the company, able to get a dealer tag and key to any M for free, well any car on the lot except the used ones.

but im glad to have the 4Runner!! Love it Lots!!! here some pics finally!!!!

cant wait for my Leather to come in!!

Had to be stupid for a moment, the RX would have probably put up some type of fuss while the 4Runner did it with ease.

You will not likely have any problems or troubles with a 4runner. I believe it is made in the same plant as the Lexus LX and GX trucks as well as the Prado. My parents have a 2004 4Runner V8 Limited AWD, the truck has been pretty much perfect since day one except the dealer replaced the rotors because of warping under warranty when they had a brake service.

Inside, the truck has a little bit better build quality and materials than my Tundra but my dad's Avalon is better than the 4runner.

overall a very good suv.

What a great vehicle! How does your truck ride compared to the RX?

I would inquire about the effects of installing leather and your side torso airbags (I think your model has them).

If the leather is going to be sewn OVER your existing fabric covers, I would definitely be concerned. Hopefully they will start from scratch, and have a weaker stitching on the side where the bags are located...

Something to look into.
