I don't know if you guys caught this, but all those cars on the driveway are waiting the Supra motor swap.

This was the talk of the town on the S2000 boards a bit over a week ago.

Its pretty sad that everyone has to use a TOYOTA engine in their cars to make them fast, i hate the fact they bastardize the 2jz by putting it in other cars, if they want a fast car with a 2jz why dont they just buy a Toyota/Lexus to begin with??

 

Because only the Supra and SC300 chassis are worth putting the 2jzgte into. The rest of toyota's lineup are not exactly handling machines, nor do their weight allow them to have that kind of potential like the s2000.

2jzgte engines are cheaper than a lot of blocks out there, and it's known to be a monster when modded. Though most people are running towards LS1 engines. I know Sound Performance went from lots of 2jzgte to LS1 engines because the LS1 engine hardly broke with lots of power.
