After Holden, you begin to step up into HSV territory......

More power, better handling, wider tires, 20 inch standard wheels and 21 inch option, huge brakes, Magnetic Ride Control suspension like the Ferrari 599 GTB and all the other performance enhancements.........................

under 5 sec 0-100km/h and a high 12 sec quarter.

Chrysler SRT8s and other boring domestic FWD sedans.
Trust me the GTS will absolutely smash the SRT8. Slightly less power but lighter, more responsive, far better braking, and far better handling.

In terms of performance Holdens SS version can hold its own against the SRT8 (apart from straight line acceleration?).

Agreed. There was an article in C&D a few months back on Ford's Australian products. Wish we could get some of those RWD cars over here too.
