Default 2007 Audi MDX?

Finally showing face here in SoCal......it's very Audi-like in the rear and very RX-like in the front/side area. Definitely looks a lot better than previous.

The front might be aggresive but the back is blah to me.

I'm confused... the 2007 Acura MDX is a ground up redesign. It's all new. So that's a 2008? What's different about it?

The all new 2007s are all over town here already - for sale at the dealerships left and right.

Couldn't help but notice the resemblance coming back from lunch today.

sport package MDX can pull .85 lateral g, impressive for a 4500 lb vehicle

When I replied to this thread the first time it was entitled: "Spotted: 2008 Acura MDX - Riverside, CA **No 56K**" and the first line of the post along with the pics was "Like the other photos floating around the internet, this one still has the front covered w/a front end mask. Spotted this today on my way back from lunch on the 91 Freeway in Riverside, CA."

I reply with:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...12&postcount=4

Now the title has been magically changed to: 2007 Audi MDX? and the first line is "Finally showing face here in SoCal......it's very Audi-like in the rear and very RX-like in the front/side area. Definitely looks a lot better than previous."

So you can't just say something like... "whoops, I didn't realize the MDX was a 2007 model and has already been out, and I was taking pics of some lady's new SUV instead of a camo'd out test mule" ??

Nice switch-a-roo.

Just to clarify, the MDX in the pic belongs to Acura (Honda America HQ Vehicle) in Torrance hence the 3421 CA MFG plates on the car. It was a previous camo test vehicle at one point in time. The car just left Acura of Riverside (being driven by the Acura Area Rep) where this particular vehicle was just departing. The vehicle was behind me as we were entering the freeway.

each dealer already has at least one for people to look at. we looked at it a couple weeks ago and it's very nice in person. The switch gear though, is still HONDA...I really wished that they would upgrade that portion of it, because looking at a portion of the interior, it's like looking at my wife's Odyssey Touring LOL.

The best feature of the MDX IMO is the rear end; sure people can say that it looks like the Q7 but i'm sure they were both being designed at the same time, and personally the execution of the rear end on this MDX is better than the Q7.

I did like the espresso leather (brownish red) in the MDX we looked at very very clean looking. what it was equipped with totalled out at 50k a bit steep but i think it'll sell more than the Q7

Actually the dealers are already getting a bunch in and selling them. The MDX forums owners already have some.

I also think the interior is very nice and IMO different in a good way but fake wood in a 45k-50k loaded vehicle is unacceptable.
