Dyno's are useless except to measure the addition of a mod because of temp diffs and what not. SAE corrected is eh...

its a little hard to tune an engine (air/fuel, timing, etc...) while goin down the quarter mile 
thats the real benefit of dynos, they allow you to mess with engine parameters while everythings moving as it would be on the road.
