I agree, not saying it's the best car, but I feel that for just over $20K I got a lot of features/safety and solid car.

Even the wheels are nice (IMO) 17" 5-spoke alloy wheels with good size rubber.

This is more of a nice beater so I wasn't expecting overly much from it, but the other day I took it for a long drive just for the fun of it. I can see myself keeping this car for a long time if it stays reliable.

I can't see why people would go for a Fit or xB or Yaris (etc.) if those cars are costing $14K-$15K for another $5K (IMO) the Legacy wagon is a ton more car. Except those little cars do get better gas mileage.
