define good

to some, its not a car to be fond of, but to others, it's a great car.

I for one think it's a nice car, though interior quality would be a bit better.

Acura = It's a pretty decent car if that's all you can afford to get a nicer badge.

I want to say like 5 or 6 membes here have TSXs for their wives. They are good cars. Reliable, sporty for FWD, peppy I-4, manual offered, good interior unoffensive looks. It has been a hit for Acura.

My bud has one, I couldn't do it (after driving it), but its a good car.

It's a nice little car...well-built, and with good fit-and-finish, though it rides just slightly stiff for my tastes. Like Mike's neighbors, a neighbor of mine just bought one a couple of weeks ago ( partly on my recommendation ) and loves it. I agree with the comments that it should have an SH-AWD option, but IMO it can do without the turbo...its power level is fine, even for AWD.
Overall I liked the TSX better then the TL and the new RL MUCH better than the TL...the TL has never impressed me.

Piece of crap... Stiff ride, FWD, no power. Pretends to be an entry level sports sedan, but its slower than even last gen 325.

On the good note it handles well, 6 speed tranny is superb, and the car is gorgeous outside and out.

No one can make a FWD manual transmission shift linkage like Honda / Acura. It is simply the best. You can shift it in your sleep.

If I were in the market for that kind of a car I would personally get an Audi A3 with the DSG gearbox and the sport package then call it a day, much better car in my opinion.

How the hell did they even cross shop the TSX with the other four? The TSX is like 10k cheaper than the cheapest one of the other four.

I agree 100% here.

Well what is most appealing about this car is the low price, you haggle and we are talking 26-27k out the door and you get a nice lil badge to go with it.
It seems your folks got caught up in the low payments and the "its close to the real entry level cars". You always get what you pay for.

I wouldn't call it junk though, its a nice lil car.

Hmmm, that is a good option. A3 is very nice. I wish they would market it more. THough the near 40k loaded V-6 version is nuts price wise.

Oh I definately agree, I wasn't talking about the 3.2, I was talking about the 2.0T which is still a very efficient, potent, and torquey engine packed with lots of technology. It's also extremely tunable and it has proven to be a very reliable engine as well. I consider the Audi A3 2.0T front track to be a superior alternative the TSX. The 3.2 Quattro on the other hand is ridiculous because its too far into A4 territory.
