Question A Good Car

What do you all recommend?

-The car must be easy access to a pregnant lady and not too small.
-Not another Lexus [We have 2 already]
-Sorry no American cars
-Need this car soon ~3weeks or less
Budget: $40k ~ $100k [Not OTD]

Does anyone know when the MB E63 is coming out?

I definately recommend an Audi Q7 or A8, actually if you don't want a vehicle that big the A6 4.2 would do quite nicely.

The Q7 does have air suspension so it can be lowered a few inches quite easily at the push of a button ( I was thinking a little bit into the future of what kind of stuff goes along with raising a child and a nice SUV could come in quite handy IMO).
I actually am the proud owner of an A6, if you have any questions about it...go ahead and shoot.

Get yourself an S-Class since your in that price range, its a comfy ride and not many problems. Major problems for an 03 model for example is the failure of the MAF.

Damn thats a huge price range. Your RX330 and Cayenne Turbo isnt good enough?? Seems like the car will be specifically for your significant other. Do you plan on keeping the car after the pregnancy?? If not why spend 100K??

I like the R-class idea. The Volvo XC90 has a low entry exit point for an SUV as well. Just about any 4 door sedan in that price range should be good. Maybe even wagons if that is your thing. Rides a little higher than sedans (easier entry exit with a slightly higher ride height)such as certain Subaru(though a little under 40K) models and Volvo models. Maybe even the A6 Avant but dont know much about that.

M35x. That rides kinda high too.

Very interested in the S class but this car is for my mom and sister up in Nor Cal, they should be coming soon and there's no car there since I moved down to So Cal. I heard Evos and WRXs are fun to drive but my sister cant drive stick, if theres an emergency and she has to drive.. she wont go anywhere. Wagons arent our thing but that R63 sounds tempting, its fast for a minivan like automobile.

My business partner has a MB R350 and it drives like a dream. I would say get the 500 but I am assuming the wife doesn't need all that H.P.

Tons of room and is also a great roadtrip vehicle as well.

lol... it doesnt lower a lot.

Dont buy an SUV if you need an car for pregnant lady... rather buy some non-sporty sedan - like LS, A8, S Class... or even R Class.

But then again, how long is she going to be pregnant for? :-). You will probably keep the car for longer than 2-3 months that she will feel uncomfortable in it...

The S-Class is nice. And since the lady is pregnant, you'd be glad to hear that tests have shown that the hearts of S-Class drivers beat several times less than that of other cars. (Anyone have a link to this test?)

Since the W221 is still new, and might go over the price range, the W220 is VERY good and will definitely fall under the range..
