This is actually a repost. There is a thread on this article at the LS460 Forums.
Best to check that one out. Thanks for letting people know about it; not a lot of people are checking out that Forum yet since the car has not been released...

The funny thing is since I can remember and I am talking LS 400 days, the LS has never lost to the S or 7 in most magazine comparos. It always killed the Q45 except a couple articles.
I think this will continue. When it comes to luxury, the LS will do it as good as the competiton for less money, with the same features.
Lexus was bold a couple years ago saying the next LS was going to shock the world like the orginal back in 1989 and I honestly think they are correct.
380hp, 19 city, 27 highway. That is NUTS and NOT the hybrid!

^^^
That and this time around, more features than ever (that the competition does not have)...! Advanced Parking Guidance System, Lane Keep Assist, twice hand-sanded paint; Driver Monitor System, etc etc...

The new one looks damn good or at least more interesting than past LS models.
I boldy predict Lexus willl not be able to make enough LSs.....
well i think when lexus said the new LS is going to be like back in 89 all over again, they weren't lying. the 2ls and 3ls were nice, but they were not gnd shaking. i can see how the new ls is really a big step up from before and trying to hit it again
