I believe property is defined as your house....not your car in this case. If someone breaks into your house, you indeed can use whatever force is needed if you feel you are in imminent danger.

As for the security company, I doubt they could be held liable. That is the same thing as saying we can hold the security cars at Walmart liable if someone breaks into a car or goes into the store and steals something. You are not entitled to have a secured lot. Most apartment complexes, neighborhoods do it as a precaution....but they aren't going to be held liable otherwise.

its not just governd to your house its wherever you feel your life is in danger then you may use force in this case unless reggie was in his car at the time of robbery he coulnt use force
