Judging from the vehicles list I guess they go from bad to worst seeing the Yugo is last. I would take a Yugo over that monstrosity Pontiac called the Aztek. I kinda liked the Vigor back in the day it looked like a bigger Honda Accord.

For once I can agree with just about the whole list.....and the Infiniti Q45, J30, 1980 Cadillac Seville, Chrysler / Maserati TC, Rambler Scrambler, Mazda Cosmo, Mazda Millenia, Isuzu Ascender and Amigo, Lexus ES250, Subaru Justy, and GMC Cyclone / Typhoon can probably be added to it.

What's the Mazda Cosmo. I like the Cyclone/Typhoon and the 97 and up Q45's

I want a fishbowl AMC Pacer and then do it up with full on limo tint so no one can see inside.

The problem with the Vigor was its odd 5 cylinder engine which while making good power for its time was a little too odd for consumers. Also, its placement and price. For a couple thousand more you could have a base or L model Legend, or an ES300. The car itself was pretty good, just kind of an odd ball at the time.

The list is in alphabetical order if you haven't noticed.

I agree with pretty much everything on the list except for HUMMER. As a brand, it sure isn't a flop, and it isn't until recently that sales starts to fall due to high gas prices.

Question

Mazda Cosmo... Didn't that model use a rotary engine?

Cheers,

Why isn't the Chevy SSR on the list?

I wouldn't consider Hummer to be an automotive flop just yet. Sure Hummer has lost a
lot of initial momentum, but I wouldn't consider the company crashing and burning.

The jaguar XJ220 was a flop Because they turned a V-12 into a TT V-6??

Well it was HAWT regardless - and 549hp

Used to be my favorite car of all time

I agree the Hummer isn't a flop yet. It's done very well for an initial stand alone brand. The current gas prices aren't helping Hummer as of now.

The Ford 500 and Infiniti Q45, J30, M30, QX4, I35 should also be on the list...

Forget it, Dave...despite the Pacer's width, there's not enough room inside one for THAT.

Problem is, not enough other people liked them. These vehicles, for the most part, instead of selling, sat around on dealer lots collecting dust and bird droppings.

The Cosmo was primarily an rotary-engined sports coupe that dated from the early 70's. The name was also used on some other Mazda products here and there...none of which were terribly popular.

good list.....reminds me of my first car when I was 17......a Merkur XR4Ti. Peppy 2.3L turbo that they put in the SVO but I beat the poop out of it and by 15K miles I blew the tranny seals 8 times and then finally sold it. Speaking of SVO......How about the Mustang SVO being on that list?????
