i once had a neighbor who honestly believed he could rig an electric leaf blower to the throttle body of his corolla to make it faster. i told him he was retarded. this is the same concept just someone is making money on it. still retarded.

I looked at the eRam once and if I had some extra cash laying around, I might give it a try just as a guinea pig to see the effects on the track. No way am I spending that amount of cash.
Aside from price, my issues are them telling you to put it the intake path and the fact it only works at WOT (though I could probably rig it to spin faster as my foot goes further down on the accelerator). You can turn it into...god forbid...the Tornado, which it isn´t.
I don´t doubt that you can get an effect from these things.
If I were to design how I would install it into my RX300 it would have to shoot at an angle into the intake path, not sit inside it. Remember, there is a vacuum effect where air gets sucked in. This little eRam from the CFMs I saw probably does a better job than some light compression turbos (like the ones in some of those VWs and Audis).
For me, too much cash to throw out there.
