just for mmarshall
Thanks, bit...that car has been posted on CL before, but you're right.....it is always nice to see a well-done lime green car as long as it's not too yellowish and puke-looking. The Dodge Neon marketed a version about 10 years ago ( Nitro Yellow-Green ) but their version was awful.
Several Dodge / Plymouth models that I grew up with, especially their muscle-cars, from about 1970-1974 marketed that lime-green color ( Tor-Lime ) and their version of it was superb.....along with the equally superb purple Plum Crazy / In-Violet. That was where I got an appreciation of it. AMC ( American Motors ) also had it ( lime green ) for a while in the 1970's. Too bad we didn't have the superb clearcoat paint jobs back then we had today....paint jobs neded almost constant washing and waxing to keep from fading. The MoPar purple I just mentioned, along with most bright red and silver colors, were especially prone to fading back then.
Speaking of reviews, I did a double ( combined ) one today on the new 2006 Kia Rio / Hyundai Accent. Check elsewhere in CAR CHAT.
