In my 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, going home from a friends house around 10pm. I was on the 15 South in san diego about to take the junction ramp to the 94 east. It is a 35mph turn that I USE to always take at 70-75mph. Well this day was just like any other (almost) took that ramp about about 75mph, only this time the sprinklers were on that water the ice plant on the hill and the water had gotten on the street. As soon as I hit the patch of water the car started sliding, I ALMOST had it back under control when the driver side rear wheel hit the curb, it was all over at that point. I ened up getting launched up that hill and flew over several lanes of the 94 freeway before landing in the fast lane. When I finally came to a complete stop, the back of my car was in the shoulder and the front of it was in the fast lane. Luckily I was able to turn the car back on, put it in reverse and get it completely onto the shoulder.

I was pretty dazed and confused, when I called for a tow truck I didn't even know which freeway I was on since the accident happened on the transition ramp. I had to ask one of guys that ended up stopping what freeway I was on. When I got off the phone I still wasn't all there so I asked the guy if he saw what happened and he said he was just driving downt he 94 when all of a sudden he saw me flying accross the freeway about 10' up in the air. There were actually cars UNDER me as I was pulling a real life dukes of hazard stunt.

I was VERY fortunate not to have killed anybody that night. I can't even imagine what my life would be like if I had landed on vehicle, taking out an entire family. This was about 6-7 years ago, and needless to say, my driving habits have drastically changed.
