Default The Next BMW 5 series ?

The latest issue of Germany’s AutoBild magazine features an artist’s rendering of the next-generation BMW 5-Series. We have yet to see the full report, so details on the alleged update remain scarce. AutoBild has very accurately predicted several future BMW models, and has also been off the mark a few times. The BMW 5-Series was last updated for the 2004 model year, so we wouldn’t expect a redesign until the 2009 model year at the earliest. That would mean the new car would arrive some time in 2008. However, if this update is considered a mere “facelift,” it could come sooner. . .

Seems more like a refresh than a redesign

Why would they take away the dual exhaust? The dual exhaust looks much better IMO..

Definately a must for a Bimmer, but it seems like they've been leaning away from it recently.

It looks like a mid-cycle facelift, not a totally new generation. But I like the current one better.

The overall shape is more fluid, which is an improvement. The tail lights do suck, however.

kind of make sense - 3 series has tailights of 90's korean cars, and new 5 series has talights of new korean cars (kia optima comes to mind)
