Thumbs up 2007 Nissan ALTIMA

By far the BEST looking (and I'm sure performing) ALTIMA to date! This and the Camry are light years better looking than the bland Accord.

push button start, i guess kia's will have this as a feature one day. glad to see atlease the camry XLE has it as an option. I think that the camry's interior is more nicer inside, i wont use the work elegant because i dont think it is unless its the XLE or hybrid. But i like the camry's interior better, i think its better looking and better layed out, but this black leather looks nice in the altima, wish the XLE camry came with black leather as an option, it only comes on the SE model. nissan also makes some nice wheels, and these wheels are really hott, looks like something porsche would make

I gotta say that ain't bad. In fact, dare I say that I like it? Interior looks like it's been improved.

Better-looking than the previous one.....especially inside....but IMO still not back up to the levels of the first-generation Altima ( 1993-1998 )...a car I really liked.

Biggest problems? Both the headlight and tailight assemblies are MUCH too busy-looking...and swept back too much.

Base Altima MSRP - $17,750 (06)
Base Carmy MSRP - $18,445 (06)

They are both Japanese 4 door, FWD, 5 passenger sedans so I dunno exactly where your coming from. And let us not forget, at $17,750 you don't get even get ABS brakes, traction control, or AC... maybe the 07's will have that standard.

that side profile posted by bagwell kinda kills it for me now...

nissans and their ever-rising tails...@#$%
not to mention the swoooooping tailights are too invasive imo into the rear quarter panels.

I think it looks better than the current Altima. I think the rear end/roof line isnt that bad, however, I dont like how it flows into the front end.
