No, I saw them....especially the ones posted here on CL....( and I commented on some of them )..... but the point I was making is that regardless of what past policy was BMW is now doing it correctly.
Which really makes sense. It is absurd for companies and car journalists to be playing this disguise and " spy shot " cat-and-mouse game. On both sides, their talents, time and money could be used doing far more constructive things. .

well my guess is bmw probably wanted to mask this car as well, but it's not on the road, it was at the airport probably waiting to get one a flight and some "bastard" snapped the pics

The wrecked crate underneath it reminds me of the "VEE DUB" commercials

I like it. E46 is my favorite as well, but this is a big improvement over the E90

That was funny

To me at first glance, I thought it looked more like the GTO (yes, I know, GTO ) from the rear quarter panel view.

Front looks good though

Thanks for sharing.

I think companies usually do heavily disguised test mules, then slowly strip the cladding/disguise off as the date for official PR approaches. Sometimes leaks are unintentional, but I think often they're fully controlled. I suspect this was a controlled release, since the PR is due out sometime this month, or so I've heard.

i think it looks good... and if history is any indication, there will soon be many of it on the road.

I personally think this new coupe will be more successful than even the E46 coupe since this new one will be coming with the standard 325/330 , PLUS the 335i turbo.

Plus check it out with wheels and a drop

The rear end still looks better than that ugly one on the E90 sedan, but I won't call it pretty either. Car is nice enough overall though, but not enough to get me real exited about it so far, but I'm sure it will drive very well.
