Though the Elise is cool, its still not the same.

No talks of production.

 

I have a barn behind my house and this old man used to use it to restore cars. He had two of those Elise in the barn. As a little kid, he would take me out in them. He told me that I could use one for my prom night . Unfortunately, he passed away a couple years ago and the cars were auctioned away.

Along with the two Elise, he had a several other cars including a Ferrari 512 M built in 1971 if I remember right?

 

Thats awsome. At least you were able to get a ride in them. I only see them at autoshows. Oh I think you ment Esprit. Elise is the new small one.

I would really like to get one of these as well. I always loved the look of Esprit and I respect them as a company. They arent incredibly expensive used(60K range, low mileage MY2001-02) and they have that exotic look to them. A bargain to me compared to Ferraris, Porsches, Lambos and Aston Martins of the same years.

 

Oops.. Yeah I meant the Espirit. HAhahaha
