I love the way new S550 looks. It's very classy yet sporty. It's really a tough choice btw these 2. You can't go wrong with either one.

Personally, I am a bit biased and I would pick LS460l. I was checking out LS460L on lexus.jp and oh boy, does the car have shi* loads of cool stuff that you will never see on MB.

Ok guys what I mean;t by the look and my job is what my clients will think in terms of is this kid arrogant? I don't sell residential and clients don't ride in my car. I usually never meet my clients in person. I guess I'm just thinking what my friends, neighbors and associates might think. Should I stick with the GS since I'm young or step up and drive a stock S550 or LS460? Someone made a comment about my rims? Whats wrong with a set of GENUINE 20 inch staggered LOWENHART LDR'S? I think they are great. Someone else added getting an older BENZ I want the new body style and almost bought an 06 LS430 untill I realized the new one was coming. Maybe I should rephrase my question. When should I switch? When the new ones are a year old? and LS or S class?

I will say you are not mature enough for any of those car yet.

Not punk intended. But if you are thinking about picking one of those two cars because you care about how your friends, neighbors and associates might think, and have to get others' input on the internet for your decision, then you are not ready for truly enjoying any car yet.

And I guess you already have an answer in your head. You are on a Lexus board and you know what kind of answer you will get with the two options. Intention for biased answer?

Keep your GS. Switching car so frequently isn't smart.

Nice choice! If I could do the same I would. I voted for you keeping the
car, but I didn't figure you were THAT loaded

The poll looks about even, but honestly I would have to go see the
S550 in person, cause those wheel arches and the rear look in
pictures. The same of course holds true for the LS. Gotta see it in
person in black or gray.

Either way you can't go wrong. 3 great cars.

I think the choice of rims are personal preferences - some people go for the look, some people go for the performance enhancement, and some people just want to show the others that they have the money to go "bling bling" and think the rims make them richer than the others.

Look is subjective. No need to be too serious about the opinion towards it.

Perhaps I don't have to flaunt my money buddy. You have no idea what I do for a living, so don't assume. You have people who make good money who don't have to flaunt it. I could run on 13's and have the satisfaction to say I'm doing it. I don't need to buy some 20 inch played out wheels to say I'm there homie. Perhaps I have smarting things to do with my money than to buy status. When you grow up, you will realize son. If you can't take constructive criticism, then don't post such a thread. Ask Mommy or daddy.

ha....owned.

But seriously, did you look at the CLS55? That would be my choice in that price range. The new S550 is sweet indeed though. 2 of my colleagues just ordered them. Also, what about a Maserati Quattroporte. I would drive that car anyday!!

Your 26, I'm 25. We're both in real estate and drive the same car. For me I still want something more sporty than the GS. A lexus is a great car, but it will never be a sports car. Why dont you keep your GS and go get a Porsche or something?? U could pick up a slightly used 996 Turbo and really get some looks if thats what your after. Just a thought.
