I think its a very cool beast but its so probalamatic, I cannot recommend it. EVO has one on long term currently and every month, it breaks down.

Jaguar SType R good sport sedan, and plus fast as IS350! I don't like Jaguar all whole lineup cars! Overpriced and Bad reliable!

They are nice looking, but a complete hunk of crap.

Tempting looking cars, they draw you in...... then steal your wallet in repairs.

I think the one from 01-03 looked better (don't know the exact years)

They are built like a ford car. I had to pull the window regulator out of one a few years ago and the door panel was so easy to get off it was like pulling apart a honda. The regulator literally fell out with three bolts once I got in there. Total crap.

A Jaguar is like a dumb blonde -- she looks great and you'd love to ride it, but you'll definately dump it as soon as the novelty wears off...

Nice, but it's just a disguised Ford.

If you have the money $$$$$$to constantly repair the car, then go for it.

Yes, it looks good. Jag's entire R line-up is good looking.

If you get one, make sure that you have a back-up car on-hand for when it breaks down ... like the last generation Land Rover Discovery. Upon further evaluation, you better make the Jag a back-up to the Disco. Then again, you might be riding public transportation when both are in the shop at the same time.

On a slightly off-topic note, I recall reading consumer reviews of the last gen Land Rover Disco and one poster wrote that it was a great car as long as you had a back-up car for all the times that it was out of commission! Ouch.

My life is complicated enough already. I don't need a car piling on!

Damn and i was hoping that this would actually be a "get what you pay for" car. I didnt expect for it to be such a piece of crap for the price tag on it

I just think that the design of this car is amazing and the 400hp S/C V8 doenst hurt

I like all the jag designs but agree with olt the original of this one looked better. Also agree with the majority that jags look so good but are similar to benz in reliability. I spoke with a mechanic who said jags were the biggest piece of crap to repair money could buy. Now that was before ford bought them and I'm sure they're better but I wouldn't chance it. One of our local dealers has a rental service. I've rented jags. You can feel the ford in them but overall, a truely sweet piece of autobilia they are. Interiors make you feel special. The quality has gone down in the interior but still have that character that makes you feel special. My wife felt like a queen riding in them. I'd take a chance only with a brand new one but would dump it as soon as the warranty ends.

A Jag dealer will actually TELL YOU to sell your car at 45,000 miles if you possibly can.

That's pretty sad. I've seen'em do it.
