i recognized the bumper
rolls royce back then didnt really have bumpers, they had suspension sticking out
except for 20/25 in 1929 and on but that would prob have a mascot on the bonnet
now i cant htink of one to post... thinking...

Ubernoob, you are dead on. It is the 1929 Deusenberg Model J Phaeton,, nicknamed the "20 Grand". This car was built specifically to kick off the opening festivities of the 1929 World's fair and even back in it's day, this car cost $20,000; hence the nickname the "20 Grand". Very few people back then could afford this ideal luxury, including the very wealthy.

They didn't but on US models I believe bumpers were installed.
