The ES is a little shorter but I think the interior is bigger.

I have one - dont think it is too terribly hard, but what the hey.
What is the difference, size or lookswise, between the base model wheels on the 98-01 GS300 and 02-05 GS300 (stock, not optional, of course)?

The spokes are different and the finish is also different. The size shold be the same except for the sportdesign.

Even though the ES is an entry level car it is longer at 190.2 inches where as the GS is at 189 inches. The GS has a bigger cabin since it is a mid-size sedan.

That's correct.
And you still have the 2nd part to answer.

You only have one part correct, the GS400.
The right answer is: Team Lexus debuted two GS 400's in the Motorola Cup in 1999.
