I agree. Sports cars (no matter how luxurious) like Ferrari and Lambos should skew to the red/yellow/silver colors, whereas Luxury cars (no matter how sporty) like Bentley and Rolls should skew to the black/charcoal/white colors.

I discovered the St James Red while doing some research about a month ago and had the same reaction, just not the color for this type of vehicle. I think the Umbrian is about the "brightest" this Bentley should be.
Just because a vehicle is oriented towards luxo sport, does not mean it can't be red (IMO) I think the MB r230 SL and w203 C look great in red.
personally the bentley gt is never my car, i never like how the car looks. i am sure it's one very nice and powerful car, and i have seen more than a few of them here in cali, but even in person i don't think it looks good
I didn't like it much when I saw it in pics & in the Autoshow & the dealership up here (still haven't seen one on the road here yet), but last May when I spent a long weekend in LA, I saw at least a dozen of them on the road, & it has grown on me, they might not be the prettiest cars, but they do have a lot of road presence & curb appeal.
I won't mind owning one if I can afford it LOL, & it looks like the convertible version coming out later may be even nicer.
