I think the next generation Camry looks good. The hood is more aggressive and the trunk is Bangle-ized. I can't wait to see the new ES. If you want to get something better than a Toytota get a Lexus.

hopefully the new es looks nothing like the camry since the looks doesnt look like itll fit the l-finest theme. from the looks of it i can see the rear as something similar but the front looks doesnt belong.

Again, I like the new interior a lot. Perfect for a Camry.

Notice the pic with the dimension specs mentions an AWD version. Hopefully it'll make it to the State side this time.

theres so many good looking cars coming out now, i really like the camry and i was considering trading it in for a 06 IS, then i liked the 2nd generation GS, and then i wanted one of them and then i saw my first IS on the road today moving and now i want one of them and now i see how nice the next camry will be and now i might consider one of them. so many choices out there. the interior looks really good, i mean look at that LCD screen in the instrument cluster in the speedometer. i like the steering wheel alot but wish there was more wood (fake wood) on the bottom portion of it. im impressed!!!!

I think when you get to see the new Camry's interior in person, it may just look as cheap as the Avalon

interior looks nice. looks like toyota will continue to sell camry's at a good pace. the only ugly is the trunk. only bmw's have uglier trunk designs.

Huh? I've been inside a new Avalon (it was a Touring) and the interior was amazing. I could not find anything cheap about it. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but I would consider it to be class leading. It's definitely an interior worthy of an Avalon.

From the looks of it, the Camry will have a great interior too.

Let me clarify, I mean "cheap" relative to the interior of the Lexus ES330. The Lexus still have better interior material/quality//fit/finish than the Avalon.
Certainly I would agree the Avalon has a class leading interior, but still not Lexus like when examined in detail.

What's wrong with that? Your dad apparantly likes to spend his money wisely. Granted....the Camry is not exactly the peak of automotive excitement, but there are FAR worse ways to part with your hard-earned automotive dollar. I especially feel pity for those who have spent vast sums on Mercedes products and gotten stuck with expensive lemons.

Nah, I dont have a problem with that at all really. We jokingly tease him every now and then, thats all though. "Another Camry!!??". You know, one of those. He gets what he likes and trusts the Camry line. Hes owned so many Camry's that I really lost track.
