so about a month and ahalf ago i had a problem with my car alarm and i took it to lexusand i had to make an appointment for nov 7th so whatever...i bring the car in with some other minor things but my main concern was the alarm problem...so they give me a call yesterday saying my cars done pick it up...i go to pick up my and now this is where i really get pissed offf...cause before i left monday i told them DO not wash my car cause they have that brush wash and i never go through that...the kid puts a huge yellow piece of paper saying dont wash....well i go out to the lot to see the car and they washed it...my sales consluant is trying to tell me they didnt...but i know they did cause i had some bird poopy on it from that morining...so im already upset by this now alittle bit well the alarm guy tells me i need a new battery and right off the bat i told him no i dont...and he says yea the alarm is fine just need a new battery in the key..so i explain to him the problem and i told him it doesnt rearmor its self after 30secs...so he trys it and it doesnt rearmor itself ...so now the guy has this dumb founded look on his face..so they try telling me to bring it back and make another appointment and i tell them no way i waited a month for this one i come in and the biggest problem i wanted fixed didnt even get fixed OR i think even looked at...i doubt they looked at it cause its covered under warranty..but i know they did my 45k service cause that would be the only thing they made money off of...this isnt the first problem i had with them ive had others right after i got the car in april ...sorry for such a long post but should i say something or just let it go? im very pissed off and i think im just gonna go somewhere esle from now on....thanks for letting me rant

I think you need to call up the manager and explain the situation, and ask him why you have to be the guy telling the techs what to do, they are supposed to be "experts", and you shouldnt be the guy telling them the problem. Sometimes thats what I hate about the dealer, they have this guy who thinks he knows whats going on, but in reality, he doesnt know an SC from an LS. Then he inisists that he's right and im wrong, not fully knowing that I've taken my car apart several times, but since he's in the Lexus jumpsuit, thats somehow he's supposed to know better, and im not supposed to know anything at all.

Thanks for letting me rant myself..... Anyone else has anything he wants to let go?
