Maybe there is something wrong with me, but I cant understand how do utter POS like TSX and BMW 3 series make it on top of the lists? Imo first gen ES300 > than both of these put together.
No no no, TSX is not an Accord. It's an Evro Accord, that doesnt hold a candle to the US V6 Accord. Too small, slow, and harsh on the road.
US Accord > 3 series and TSX
I see how you could say that about the TSX, but the 3 series too?? Care to clarify? The 3 series is better than the Accord in every way, except price and room.

Actually the TSX is better than 325, and Accord is much better than the 3 series in every way besides acceleration compared to the 330. But for the price of 330 I'd much rather get an RL.

TSX and 3 series are POS? I am confused. Which one is not POS then? first gen ES300? care to share your experiences with new TSX and 3 series? i drove both of them and i was very impressed with both. 3 series is the car to have in that price range if you like driving. i think it's just too extreme and doesnt make sense when you say the first gen ES300 is better than TSX, let alone new 3.

Sure. Lets start with TSX.
I test drove it this summer when I was shopping for a car to replace the aging 94 GS300. Was very impressed with the cars looks and interior in the showroom, the wood trim looked gorgeous. But when I took it for a test drive, I was amazed on how harsh the ride was and how slow it was. What a disappointment.
Now to the 3 series. Pretty much the same complaints as the TSX for the 325 - too slow and too harsh on the road. The 330 is rather quick though, but lacks low end torque. However, the interior is soo cheap and ugly, and even the CD player skips over the bumps. At that price, the car is a joke.

That's crazy that an First Gen ES300, let alone a current ES330 is better than a BMW 330? The BMW 3 series it the benchmark that everyone else is trying to catch up too. The drive itself is so much more fun and better than any other car in it's class.
Haha Honda Accord on the list..that's nothing new. That will always be...no matter how refreshed, ugly or old the Accord is, it will always place first in any midsize sedan C&D comparo.

I agree with C& D on Honda Accord. Honda Accord drives much nicer than anything out in the market today in that segment.
