Lexus base prices and sales figures
Does anyone know where I might be able to find historical base prices and sales data of Lexus models?
I'm researching Lexus' market penetration into the US from its launch in 1989 until the present. There is a lot of information from about 1998 onward; however, before 1998 the information seems to become very scarce (possibly because the internet wasn't a very popular media before the late 90's).
I have sales by model from 1999 until 2004, but I'm missing sales figures from 1989 through 1998. Also, I'm looking for historical base prices for each model.
If you would know where to find this information or if you have ancedotal evidence (for example how much you may have paid for your Lexus <especially if it is an older model>) that you would be willing to share I would appreciate your help.
