These are just some things that I noticed about both cars...I could be very wrong and completely off though.

Default I'm not sure about the confusion

Some folks on other forums seem to be getting these photos confused. The one on the left is the LS, the one on the right is the ES. They are different cars.

I hope they don't screw this up...the C-pillar window junction has been curved since the 2G ES, I would hate the 5G ES to ruin it...

The current ES is a refined and elegant clean curved design. L-Finesse so far lends itself to more sporty, angular dynamics. I hope that the ES, the least sporty of all Lexus, won't suffer L-Finesse horrors.

The 2007 Camry with Avalon-inspired lights looks more toward slab-angled designs, I hope the nice curved ES look isn't ruined by that. The ES is a luxo pleasure palace of sorts, keep it looking that way!

If it looks like this...

I still think both rear doors sit too far over the rear wheels and the trunks are far too small. Maybe one is the Camry and one is the ES? Both cars do have a similar shape.
The LS doesn't look like the ES ever. I just find it hard to believe that one is an ES and the other is an LS.

I think I've got it. GS450h. The car on the left has a striking resemblance to the new GS.
Fog light area has the same gaps as the GS. The headlamps are vaguely similar. You can almost make out the high beam lamps. Windshield/hood shape are the same as the GS.

Front end looks a lot like the new IS. Could be a bigger version of the IS.
