Default Will new LS debut at Tokyo show?

Thread title says it all. Any word yet? My friend is pretty confident that it will be unveiled at the show.

I would have thought they would reveal the new ES before the new LS. From all the spy pics and information that has leaked out about the new Camry/ES, it seems to be further along a bit more than the next generation LS.

THis is a very good question. I am not sure at all. Time to snoop.
With the SC 430 "concept" at the Toyko Motor Show back in 2000, we had no idea it was coming. THis could then happen with the LS.

Usually Lexus unveils new products at the Detroit Show, although they did have an AWD 2006 GS 300 up on the turntable last year at the D.C. Show two weeks before Detroit.....you and I both looked at it along with your friends.

It is possible, though, that the Lexus marketers may be saving the new LS for a Tokyo introduction to help get the nameplate more established ( ironically ) in Japan.

I'm not sure about the new LS, but many people say the LF-A will... as well as the new supra. But i guess there's only one way to really find out... wait!

Speaking of the debut of the new ES.... With Lexus taking its new direction and wanting to further seperate their models from the "regular toyota" models, is the new ES going to be on the same platform as the new Camry? Do you think its going to share a lot of parts?

I really hope that the Black Diamond appears on the next LS. I love that color on the ES.
