I've never seen a clear brake light like that before.....its legality is doubtful. Federal Safety regulations required a third red brake light at "eye level" on all 1985 and newer cars. In states where regular safety inspection is required, brake lights are usually one of the things that are required to be working to pass.

Actually the third-Generation ES300, which of course was built off the Camry, did look a lot like that in back.
