"Not a registered user"? As the saying goes, "if it sounds too good to be true, it is!"

I'd stay clear.

How is it possible that he's not a registered user and still have an auction going?
Yea 14k for a pretty much new M45. Somethings wrong there. Notice the lack of any bids. SCAM!

smells rotten. especially considering there is no storage limit for Ebay emails. You dont have an inbox, you just get it directly sent to you at your email.

let me guess, no paypal or credit card accepted, only wire transfer AND this is BEFORE you go and pick up/take a look at the car

Man this is such a scam. We're gonna find out how much too!! I sent an e-mail to that Oliver person from one of my spam e-mail accounts. I'll post his reply and we'll see how long we can string him along!!!

Here's what I sent to him.

Hi Oliver!! I saw ur auction for the new Infinity M45! What a great price. This is really cool since I get my license in 6 months and I happen to have $15,000 saved to buy a car!! Talk about perfect timing! I was looking at your auction and I couldn't find any payment instructions. Can you write back so I can find out how to buy this car. It is da bomb!! Plus, can you tell me where you are? I can have my Dad drive me to see the car and pick it up. Thanks!

Your friend,

Billy

LMAO! I wanna see what this scammer says, if he even bothers to reply to you at all.

It does have Vehicle Purchase Protection up to $20,000 to protect against fraud and misrepresentation

We got a reply guys!!!!! Here it is:

Hi Mark,

I accept only cash and Secure Trade is an eBay partner site and they act as a third party. You will deposit the money and give them the payment details, they will contact me if everything is all right and I will proceed with the shipping. After you receive and inspect the bike, you'll notify them and they will release me the funds.
This is the process and if you want to do it, I will need these details from you: full name and address and eBay ID. They will contact you with all the necessary details.

Regards, Oliver

He must have gotten my name from my cheesy yahoo account. I only use it for registering for stuff online and my yahoo Fantasy football anyway. So..........what should we try next? Obviously his "partner site" is not actually one and I like the way he needs my address and eBay ID. Anyone else notice this from above, "After you receive and inspect the bike"

What bike?? You're auctioning off a car fool!!!

We need to think of something to string him along for a while... Ideas??

Ok, here's what I sent back so far!! This could end up being frikkin hysterical!!!

Hey there Gerald!! Wut up???? Mark is my Dad, I use his e-mail account since it's easier and we all live in a one room trailer. Plus, he's always sleeping off the Wild Turkey! LOL It's pretty cool though, I only have to walk like 50 yards to use the outhouse, and every Thanksgiving Mom gets us real toilet paper instead of the brown paper bags from the market. Ouch, they hurt! Anyway, this is SOOOOOOOO cool!!!! I can't believe I'll get to drive an Infinity!! I'm a little confused though. In ur e-mail, you said to check the bike. What bike?? Are you sending me a bike too!!!! I sure hope it's a unicycle!!! Well, hit me up again with the information for this Secure Trade thingy. I don't really know how it all works, so explain it to me ok??

Ur new friend

Billy

I'm sorry but it is a mistake, not bike I sell a car (infinity). The website of Secure Trade is www.securetrade-auction.com and if you want this car please send me your full name and address so we can get the process started.

Oliver

God!!! This is great amusement for a Monday in work!!!

Here's my latest reply:

Gerald:

I told you, my name is Billy!!!!!!! Mark is my Dad! He may be a drunken crack-head, but he's still my Dad!! Well, anyway, I just need to go move the money from my great-grandma's mattress to the western union, so they can send it to my Uncle Remus, who will then put it the bank so we can send it to the place you said. Uncle Remus has to do this since he's the only one with teeth!

Were are you living Gerald?? I really wanna come see the car! Since I am only 4 foot 1 inch tall, I need to see how well I see over the dash or if I need a booster seat. Let me know.

Ur new BESTEST friend
