Default 06 Saab 9-5 Facelift

This is an interesting design. But I'm not sure if I like it or not. Part of that has to do with the really wierd lowe fascia. I dont mind the headlights to much. I can get past that. Its a little different for a Saab. Still wouldnt buy the 9-5 though. So many better cars in its price range.

On a side note, I always loved the old school 9000 Aero and the Viggen. Those were classics in my eyes.

Nevermind. Striaght on, this car doesnt look to bad. Nice and futuristic. But from the side and the rest of the car its not a good look.

The car needs a totally new body, not another facelift. This same exact model has been around since the beginning of 1998. Its time for a totally new body, not another facelift. We probably wont see one for another 3 years.

WHAT THE HELL IS GM DOING!!?? Slowly killing brand after brand.

Front end based off of this Saab Concept.

Nice to see that two-tone steering wheel from the 9-3 make it to the new 9-5.

Way too much grill in there. I could cook an entire steer on that grill. I'm really beginning to hate all the new tails on the A4, Jetta, Civic and now this. Barf. Alot.

That thing is ugly. It's an upcoming facelift and already it looks dated.

Hmm, SAAB getting rid of its signature grille?

Current 9-5 looks way better. Headlights on this look 5-series inspired ( ) and tails look like 7-series knockoffs (which were probably already knockoffs of Avalon tails themselves). The tails work well on the 7er, IMO, while they don't work as well here.

Current 9-5 . This one . I really like current SAAB styling. Hope they don't go the way of BMW...

I think the signature grill is still there....it just extends more to the headlights.

The front overhang between the wheel well and the front of the car is HUGE. I like the new headlights though, the black-outs are sweet

Good one!

In the three-quarter shot of the entire car, the front end looks like it's from a totally different car.

I can understand that manufacturers are trying to create a strong and identifyable look to their cars- look at the new Subaru and Audi vehicles. But this front-end is just confused-looking. It looks like it was inspired by... well, you know when auto manufacturers are testing new models and they disguise the prototype cars with a clumsy bra and black tape- they just decided to leave the disguise on.

The rear of the sedan looks like the new Jetta.

That car "jumped the shark" about four years ago anyway.
