Cough cough, Toyota Supra, cough cough

To be honest, I think I like both pretty equally. But while I have ridden in and am active with the SUpra community, the GT-R is like a "Grail", mysterious, yet so wonderful.

Well, the Supra comes close, but you gotta admit that it takes a second seat to the GT-R in the totem pole as far as Japanese performance cars go. The GT-R isn't called "battle god" in Japan for nothing.

I really hope they don't make the car all soft when they bring it to the States as an Infiniti.

Now, in terms of looks, I don't like the current GT-R. The last Supra was a better looking car. Anyways, I can't wait til they both come out. I forgot to add the Supra in the "most anticipated car" thread.

When you think Japanese peformance powerhouse, the MKIV Supra comes to mind. It's too bad Toyota never offered an AWD version of it. That would have been a true R33/34 competitor.

It's too bad the real Skyline GT-R's with real legendary engines never made it for regular sale in the Nissan lineup. RB26DETT is one awesome motor (my personal favorite is the R33). But in many ways the 2JZ-GTE is far superior. Where's that one video of the MKIV eating up that R34 in a drag race in Japan? R34 had it off the line, but a few seconds later, the Supra killed it.

Whoa we're way off topic. Let's talk about the GS vs. the M and RL.

Well the thing is, the GT-R is god in Japan, but the Supra is the Japanese God in the USA. Wow, I don't think the Supra was sold in Europe. I know the GT-R was black imported though.

This I am not going to begin to argue, I love both cars dearly (Time for pics)

Though I do agree with you guys that the Acura NSX is the best Japanese supersports car, it's a liitle ironic considering Acura is beneath it's Japanese cousins Infiniti and the Almighty Lexus. I guess Honda got that race thing down but won't step up and make a real Luxury car for it's Acura division. They might wanna start with a RWD V8.
