Default 2006 Sienna Information

Wow....I must say with all the new features the Sienna is adding it is truely a Lexus of the minivan world. Also it getting the 5th generation navigation I believe which the IS 250/350 models are also getting. Not even the other Lexus models has it. A memory seat, bluetooth, power folding third row, turn signal LED, wow! I must say I would probably consider this over the new Mercedes R-Class or RX 330.

Yes, the Sienna is is an excellent vehicle, but it is expensive by minivan standards. The new Kia Sedona is a better value, though, dollar-for-dollar...check it out a couple of threads down in CAR CHAT.

That is a very nice van I've been in one, its truely a Lexus at heart. With its price it should be. I hoppe they do something about the running boards they stick out like wings on the sides, look quite wierd.

holy smoke, this is amazing!!!!! they fixed the stuff that i didn't like about the 05!!! finally there is memory seat, and on the 05, i think the 3rd row folding is kinda hard (harder than the odyssey), but this one is even powered, damn! i wonder if it's relatively fast though, it would be not as good if it folds slow

and man, all the new gadgets! thank god i didn't get the 05!

Thought you already dropped the minivan idea altogether. Any good news coming?

haha, no, my wife's stomach doesn't get any change

well we sorta scrapped the minivan idea *for now*, but getting a minivan is still our goal. it's just so much more useful compared to our other cars in certain occasions

Going a little off topic here for a second, but the new Avalon is VERY Lexus-esque as well. There's a thread somewhere around here talking about how Japanese vehicles are becoming more and more stylish.

DaddyO,

Do you have more pics that you can share?
I'd love to post them back at SiennaClub.

Thanks in advance.

I LOVED our gen 1 Sienna, we kept it for the longest time, loved the Captain's Chairs leather seats, the cupholders and storage spaces galore...the sliding doors on both sides. The gen 2 Sienna, not as much, but this latest pic looks great.

Thanks.
Bluetooth/Voice Nav comes to the 06 4Runner this year. The Prius and LCruiser already have it.

Not for the Sienna, yet...Sorry.
