For that amount of cash I'd get a 93-97 Cadillac STS. Make sure it's the 300hp northstar engine. A very respectable car. 0 to 60 in mid 6 secs, addicting V8 roar and still a eye catching car IMO.

I have a $6000 check coming and I can sell like $6-$12K worth of furniture, I have a degree in computer science and shouldn't be hard to find a job so it isn't like I am a teenager with nothing. But getting a job could take a little while and I dont want to spend every week throwing money into a car. now looking at a 1992 sc 300 in arkansas

Cool

Best of luck with your selection, I hope you find a good car in your price range. I'd go back to basics personally & don't get something too flashy.......there's a good chance that a high end car of that vintage & price point will need some $$$ sunk into the car. I still like the Corolla & Civic idea considering your situation.........bland yes, but reliable. In the end, it's your call of course

Keep us posted.

Default 1999 honda accord

found an accord for $4500 with 133K miles on it, going to go after that one. I think that is the best bet
