Actually that intercooler looks like a Greddy Unit made for an Mr2 turbo capable of supporting up to 400hp. Since it'smounted in the front and not the side like the mr2, it should do it's job more efficiently. AT only 250hp, that CRX will run high 12s already. Most big front mounted intercoolers are over kill and bought mostly for looks unless you're pushing out the kind of numers those Supra guys do.

LOL, oh boy. Put a shame to CRX's.

He's using DSM side mount intercooler in the center haha.
I wonder how it's spooling since the turbo mani was extended.

The car looks like a water gun now.

I'm not hating on the guy for the condition of his ride. But he stands to be abused with that (as Mikal stated perfectly) water gun setup. The whole job looks like it's held together with spit and bubble gum. You can't honestly believe that this assinine setup would actually result in an increase in performance????

As a street racer, my guess is he knows it's not really legal or practical(side exhaust in front of front tire)as a daily driver. This is something he takes out to do battle on late nights. That's what I would do. Seek out a worthy opponent and do a couple of run and takes it back home. If everything is tightly screwed in and tuned right, it should make a ton of power. No one cares about looks at night, only wanabes and spectators do.

Ummmmm.....ok. Maybe the car is a beast. But my money is on the car doing 0-60 in 1.5 days. I am definately not a turbo expert but I see too many potential issues with this odd setup. Any turbo pros out there think this thing could potentially work?

Wet air filters suck. They don't breathe. They break up and are sucked into the line, etc.... Realistically though, I hope he doesn't drive that in the rain.
