Please...I provide stuff to back up what I have to say. I also don't make wild accusations and you know that. I don't get why it's so wrong to call BS on stuff like this.
Anyway, I'm not getting into this with you here. If there's something you want to discuss, PM me.

However, I have a theory. I've driven an E46 BMW 325i, and I think it has more than 184hp. It isn't really FAST, but it isn't 184 hp slow, either.
Now, how is it Nissan can get such a HUGE spectrum of power by using the SAME VQ35XX in EVERY vehicle (besides the Q45, Sentra, Titan, Xterra, Pathfinder and Frontier, but the Xterra, Pathfinder & Frontier use the VQ as well, just boxed out to a 4.0)? Moderate tuning here and there could be a reason, sure, but what's the actual difference between the G35 Coupe and the G35 Coupe 6MT?
Manufacturers HAVE lied about the output of their engines, and probably would continue to do so just to sell.
Edit: 2003 Altima and a 2003 Maxima Auto's were compared... same VQ, same trans, and the WHP was the same for both vehicles...
Hyundai got busted for this as well.
