It starts like this.

Push Throttle. waiting for turbo to spool, turbo starts to spool and you get pushed back in the seat like a jet taking off, then the tires break loose and you shift. After 2-3 gears you look down and your doing 120-130 like it's nothing. Here's my last dyno. Highest I have made is 838 with a 75 shot, all this through a GT40-67 .81 AR ( 67mm turbo.)

Maybe Toyota should make their upcoming Supra or supercar alot more fragile so the competition can start all over again to see who can make the most HP/torque from stock internals.

For some reason (until I drive an 800 HP car myself), I always thought it would be very hard to drive a beast like this. For the simple reason that it would be hard to have any traction at all with all that HP................

Even on my measly 300 HP GS, if I turn off VSC and floor it, I just get so much wheelspin and I have to take pressure off the throttle to get any movement ahead. How on earth can you get any traction with 800HP from a stop???

Very nice video by the way!

M3, M5 and E55 would bow down and walk away with tail between legs. So there wouldn't be any challenges to begin with. Everybody knows their postions in the animal kingdom.

With all the HP on tap about the only thing that will have any part of an 800hp Supra are Big HP Vettes, Vipers, or other tuner monsters and the occational 1000cc + Street bike (You'll eat just about any 600 for lunch). Not trying to sound cocky, but it takes a lot to beat these cars on the street (traction provided) and on the highway the Supra is a very tough pill to swallow. It's a fun car
