No love for the SV..
That sucker was a torque monster for a carbed 650 and could make you look like Miguel Duhammel in the corners. (or Nicky Hayden IMO)
SVrider.com
Good tech forum and loads upon loads of info.
I like the Kat for a beginner but you'd gotta say, V-Twin powah!!!!!
Johnny, you can't say no, you rode an TL (An SV's bigger brother) Those suckers could sling shot you from a corner!
And yes, they have full faring kits for them.....

Yes, there is no need to spend more than $2000 on a bike right now. It has everything to meet your needs ( aside from the coolness factor)!!
The good thing about these bikes is they have pretty much finished depreciating, so you can get very close to what you paid for it back when you sell it. Unless of course you trash it.
When your skills improve then you can set your sights on a nicer bike. Good luck man - and keep the shiny side up!

I have pulled a lot better ones, never caught it on camera though
I sold that bike - next summer I will probably get the Busa
Good luck with the bike and let me know if you need anymore info,
Peace,
Jonny
I've been riding for about 8 years and I started out with a GSX-R 600 and I thought that was a good bike. Its wasent too heavy but it had some power so I didnt get bored to easy. But now that I'm more experience I've got a GSX-R 1000 and its fast but I think I want that 1300.
