I dunno if you've guys noticed them driving around but there are quite a few new RX400h's on the road here in SoCal already. On my way to work this morning, I spotted a new from Crown Lexus (Ontario) RX400h in Crystal White on the 91 Freeway going Westbound in Corona and another one close to the office here in Orange County from Lexus of Westminster in Millenium Silver Metallic. Coincidental I see two brand new ones in one day. You can easily miss it unless you spot the special graphite split 5 spoke wheels, the LED taillights, the obvious RX400h badge, different front grille, front bumper air vent and projector fogs.

 

We've already done a 5K on a 400h... 5K in just over month, assuming the guest got it 'openning day'... that's simply amazing!

You don't even put down 5K/month, right Ryan? lol

 

Not quite. But I put 1k in 3 days. Picked up my car brand new w/5 miles on Thursday night, returned to Longo on Monday for my 1k checkup...with just a few hundred miles over 1k.

 

man that's really a lot of driving in a month, that's crazy @_@

 

I spotted one here in Nebraska last week as I was driving back to Omaha from Lincoln on I-80. It was at night so the LED tail lights are what caught my eye! I put down my deposit for one the next day... but not for me. It will be a b-day present for momma.

 

I spotted one filling up at a 76. They look prettymuch the same except for the wheels and that thing on the grill. I like it overall.

 

does 400h comes with auto pilot option?


that's a lot of driving in a month, but then i drove 1000 miles in one day. i know i am nuts

 

The 400h doesn't even have Adaptive Cruise Control!

It'll be when the Lane-Keeping Assist option from the Crown Majesta is made available to Lexus cars and coupled with ACC, that auto-pilot can be somewhat achieved.

 

I saw my first one in an empty parking lot a few days ago here in the U district. It looked majestic just standing there alone and was quite attractive. I interrupted my friend as we were driving by just to let it be known. I wish I coulda gotten a better view of the interior.

there are a lot in Beverly Hills...because my mom works there, I go there, and I see a lot of them

Each dealer has one RX hybrid and they sell it for $10,000 over sticker, so it is about $60,000

that is what Beverly Hills Lexus had

 

Jim Falk's sales doesn't dictate what other SoCal dealerships will sell their RX400h's at fyi.

 

I love dealers that mark up the price from sticker (I think we don't do that... LOL)

I remember when the 04 Solara (new body) came out, I went to a local small dealer (Wondries) to check it out... they had that car marked up $6,000 over sticker... ridiculous!!

Anyhow,

They are obviously selling like hot cakes =D I can't wait for the GS to come out... all the 'anti-suv' people that want a 'hybrid sports sedan' will end up w/ one of those

It'll have the best: handling, styling, mpg, power, etc etc in it's class... since it's the only luxury hybrid sports sedan

 

longo will never do that, that's against the company policy.

in fact it's against lexus policy to sell over sticker, dealership found doing that will get punished big time

but they can put on 500 bucks tint and 5000 bucks 17" chrome wheels. i wonder what the rx400h at beverly hill has

 

I saw a black RX 400h in an office building parking structure, and another black one on the road this week. Of course, they're outnumbered by far by RX 330's...I can't go a day without seeing at least a dozen.

 

i know...i'm just saying that there are a lot of RX hybrid in Beverly Hills
