"The new Bentley is conceived to sit at the top of Volkswagen Group’s four-wheel-drive ranks, towering above the Touareg and the Q7 and priced at $160,000 to $200,000. "
Just another grocery getter...
It's an illustration, Bentley had made SUV for the Sultan of Brunei before(the Bentley Dominator), & there were reports in the past Rolls Royce is pondering making an SUV too, see their pics in This Thread

That is the new hotness Marshall!! Everyone is going to have one of those. With big shinny spinning rims!!!
On a serious note....Bentley needs to stop thinking about trucks. I dont know how that got into their minds, but if they do, watch Bentley go from the top of its game to a tarnished brand in less than a year if produced.
The way I look at it is if you have been waiting this long to produce a truck, then you are putting way to much thought into it and the brand is not ment to have a truck.Besides dont they think its a little to late to jump in the SUV thing now?? I mean, we arent talking about a 25K SUV, this is a 200K SUV. VW is slowly killing themselves over there by making products that most people probably dont want or cant afford, starting with the Jetta and moving up the latter.

Traditionalists likely will be outraged at the notion of a lofty four-wheel-drive, terrain-traversing model wearing the time-honored Bentley crest. But Bentley’s customer base has changed dramatically in recent years, and there are signs the majority of new Bentley owners may actually welcome such a move.
These people buy cars because it shows the public they spent a lot of money. It doesn't matter whether it's a useless barge or not.
It will sell. Not too many, but it will definitely sell. It's a place to pour a lot of money and then show it off. It's a winner, even if it's a loser.

SUVs are here to stay and this is a totally untapped market.
Remember, Range Rover was the only luxury SUV back in the 90s (the Acura SLX was a failure) and Lexus came with the LX 450 that in 2 months was outselling the RR. Now LOOK at the market now, Lexus went into an untapped market and now, almost EVERY luxury car maker has 1 if not 2 SUVs. Lexus created the car based SUV, the RX and others followed another untapped market.
Its silly but makes good business sense, since these SUVs are about excess and a Bentley or Rolls SUV would sell like free boning sessions with Eva Longoria.........
